Nine decades, nine objects

Homage à Herzog Franz von Bayern

On the occasion of his 90th birthday on 14 July, the Bavarian National Museum is presenting nine objects from its Art Nouveau collection on the upper floor, part of which was transferred to the museum's collection in 1996. Nine glass and ceramic vessels symbolise the nine decades of the life of the head of the House of Wittelsbach.
From the Bavarian National Museum come sincere wishes for God's blessing, energy and health in many more golden years.
