Search for heirs to silver objects confiscated in 1939

Our Provenance Officer Dr Matthias Weniger travelled to the USA and Canada in in April 2024.

The Bavarian National Museum is also working closely with the Munich City Museum on the silver removal.
The project is funded by the German Centre for the Loss of Cultural Property and the Bavarian State Ministry for Science and the Arts.
