The Bayerisches Nationalmuseum regularly releases publications that reflect the spectrum of its holdings, its activities and its research achievements. These include scientific collection catalogues, accompanying publications for special exhibitions, conference proceedings, yearbooks and collection guides. In addition, annual reports documenting museum life, its development and its projects have been published since 1976.
